When summer is coming to an end and while most love the summer sun there is no reason to fear fall when it comes to fashion. There are new trends coming in fashion and you can be the first of your friends to stand out as the weather cools.

One trend you’ll see on the streets and in the school hallways is military fashion. The trend is big for both genders. Young and old alike will be heading out in military styled jackets and shirts.

Various versions of the military hat will be seen on the street. Greens, browns, and camos will be all over the place. Be sure to have a few military styles in your closet this spring to cash in on this latest trend. The military trend has an urban appeal with a little rugged and edgy style that sets off your entire look.

Military Fashion is starting to gain attention in the blogosphere. A few celebrities including supermodel Kate Moss are even starting to show off their military style.

The September issues are starting to roll around, and with them those deemed important enough to grace their covers. Vogue UK went for the steadfast yet somehow rather safe option of Kate Moss. What serious shopper would buy a generic or off brand piece of clothing if they can get a name brand piece for a similar price? If you are willing to take the time and effort you can find bargains on name brand clothing so that you don’t have to settle on the department store or discount store brands.

These days you can find outlet malls in nearly every area. I know where I live we have an outlet mall less than an hour drive to the west and another about the same distance to the east. Chances are that you will have one in a reasonable distance from your home as well. The great thing about these places is that they will have the same designer fashions that you see elsewhere at the ridiculously inflated prices for a many times less. I make it a habit to check these places out when I am traveling.

On clothing: When looking for the latest fashion in apparel, look around the internet see if you can find something similar in quality, design and style note the price and then compare. Once you find the best deal for the trendy apparel you have been drooling over, check if they have store near you. If there is not a store near you, see if you can get it online with FREE shipping or at least reasonable shipping rates?

If you are close to the fashion district in New York or Los Angeles, you have a huge area that sells the trendiest fashion clothing for a fraction of the cost. A good example are those stores that sell overstock and closeout name brand fashions from Rock Revolution, Forever21, Charlotte Russe, H&M and other name brand stores for a price 40% – 80% below wholesale price. And that’s just one example. There are so many of them for you to choose from. Did I also mention you can also wait for the clearance sale at any of your favorite store or go to their outlet store if there’s one near you? That’s one good deal already there.
